genders, sexualities, and identities.

Evan supports people dealing with a broad range of mental health concerns, including:
•Anxiety difficulties (including generalised anxiety, excessive worry, OCD)
•Panic attacks
•Phobias
•Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and trauma-related difficulties
•Sleep-wake disorders and everyday sleep problems
•General stress support
•Lifestyle changes and behavioural goals
•Bipolar disorder
•Coping with health-related concerns
•Adjusting to new diagnoses or life-limiting illnesses
•Grief and loss

Evan’s approach is grounded in evidence-based psychological therapies, meaning the interventions he uses are scientifically supported to be effective, safe, and reliable. He currently uses:
•Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
•Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD / trauma
•CBTi for chronic insomnia
•Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
•Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills
•Exposure-based therapy tools
•Behavioural interventions (e.g., for lifestyle change & sleep-wake rhythm problems)

Evan has undertaken extensive training in Cognitive Processing Therapy and is an accredited provider of this evidence-based approach. CPT is a structured, trauma-focused therapy designed to support individuals dealing with post-traumatic stress and related difficulties. As a result, he understands that for some individuals, particularly women or gender-diverse people who have experienced trauma, seeing a male therapist can feel daunting or unsafe. His training and clinical experience uniquely equip him to work sensitively with people who have experienced a wide range of traumatic events, including sexual violence and interpersonal trauma,
in a collaborative pace within a safe and predictable therapeutic space.

Evan’s hours are:
Monday 10:00am - 6:00pm
Thursday 9:00am - 5:00pm
